As we plan another fundraising year, and look forward to to the upcoming season, we are very proud of all that this small group has accomplished with the support of our community, our township and all of the visitors to Baysville. Feedback has been terrific and inspiring.

In addition to directly paying for construction and maintenance of the Riverfront Project, the Baysville Riverfront has also been able to assist with some other projects in our community with our fundraising efforts. We have purchased turkeys for Christmas baskets, we have sponsored local children for swimming lessons, contributed funding to help establish a defibrillator at our arena, have contributed to raise funds towards a compressor for the local curling rink, and have also helped with funding for some of the youth activities. We have also created a Riverfront Bursary for a Baysville youth going on from high school to post secondary education. Part of the requirement is the students' involvement and volunteer work within the community.  One of the mandates of the Baysville Riverfront Group is to help support and create a stronger community. I believe that we are accomplishing this dream.

The Riverfront Group needs help. Volunteers, assistance with events, and ideas for the community are among some of the things we are looking for.
